Our next Director Spotlight is on Mr. Jay Webb, Director of Bands at Avon High School. Over the years, Jay, and the Avon team, have developed one of the premier band programs in the nation. Always proud that my daughter was part of the Avon band and color guard. It was a wonderful experience.
When he talks about wanting to help kids become responsible, conscientious adults by the time they graduate was a very true happening for my daughter. This program taught her so much and made her the caring, passionate nurse she is today. Thank you Avon Band Program!!
I am an old school student of Jay’s. 1985 – 1991, Center Grove and Dutch Boy Drum and Bugle Corps. My life would have been very different without Jay’s guidance and mentorship. I learned more about life skills and personal responsibility from Jay than I ever did about music! Great man, I was blessed to have him as an influence.
