Vic Firth M294 Astrand Orange Series Mallets &#821

VIC FIRTH M294

Very Hard. This wrapped xylophone mallet produces a bright sound that compliments the rest of the Anders strand Orange Series. It allows the xylophone to blend beautifully with other instruments in a keyboard ensemble.

Inspired by string quartets, brass quintets and vocal choirs, the individual mallets in the Orange Series share a common sound color that allows their individual voices to speak beautifully together. While they are a great choice for solo playing, the Orange series are exceptional mallets for keyboard ensemble settings, where instruments must blend.
