Vic Firth M293 Astrand Orange Series Mallets -Hard

VIC FIRTH M293

Hard. This versatile mallet speaks beautifully across the entire range of the vibraphone, has a clear voice in the upper register of the marimba, and even works on the bottom register of the xylophone when a warm sound is desired.

Inspired by string quartets, brass quintets and vocal choirs, the individual mallets in the Orange Series share a common sound color that allows their individual voices to speak beautifully together. While they are a great choice for solo playing, the Orange series are exceptional mallets for keyboard ensemble settings, where instruments must blend.
