The Grover Pro Slapstick is crafted from multi-ply, cabinet-grade birch, delivering a sharp, articulate crack that cuts through without overwhelming the ensemble. Its 11-ply birch construction offers excellent strength, stability, and a visually appealing, uniform grain. Known for its durability and resistance to warping, this wood ensures long-lasting performance.
Designed with versatility in mind, the Grover Slapstick can be mounted on a standard 3/8″ threaded post (such as a cymbal stand), making it ideal for one-handed play in fast-paced percussion setups. Ergonomic grip handles also support comfortable two-handed use. Precision laser-cut f-holes and sound slots enhance its tonal smoothness and projection. An adjustable hinge, controlled via four movable rubber O-rings, lets players fine-tune the tension for optimal feel and quick response.
