Extra loud, the Holy China was developed with Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith to create a china that was brighter in pitch to better cut through a heavy-playing band.

'AA' stands for 'Automated Anvil', referring to the fact that these cymbals are made with machines. Bright and medium-pitched, these cymbals work well in most musical genres and have that 'vintage' 1950's – 1960's sound quality.
