The Outlander pad features a thinner coating of Offworld's very popular 'Dark matter' surface on the top to better simulate the response of a concert snare or a rope-tuned field drum. A small rim lines the outside of the Dark matter, making this a fantastic pad for pipe band drummers, concert percussionists, and drum set players who still need to work on rim shots. Additionally, the non-slip neoprene bottom keeps the pad from sliding on almost any surface.
