The Meinl Tar is a tunable frame drum, with the tuning lugs fully recessed within the 2.5″ deep rubberwood frame for minimal interference. A scalloped thumb notch and light weight ensures comfortable playing.
The lightly textured surface of the True Feel head is both attractive and comfortable to play. True Feel heads are not reactive to moisture, which assures consistent tuning in all barometric conditions. The tones are warm and bright, without excessive high frequencies. Includes an allen wrench for tuning.
