The Orchestral series OR42R hard xylophone/bell mallets feature materials and construction specifically suited for certain needs in an orchestral environment. The OR42R is ideal on glockenspiel, producing a clean, bright sound at nearly any volume.
The attack “tick” is almost completely hidden by the tone that this mallet produces. As a general bell mallet it will produce the big, brilliant sound needed for most orchestral bell parts.
