The Orchestral series OR42B hard xylophone/bell mallets feature materials and construction specifically suited for certain needs in an orchestral environment. The OR42B is ideal on synthetic xylophone, producing a clean, bright sound at nearly any volume. Birch handles are strong and rigid.
The attack “tick” is almost completely hidden by the tone that this mallet produces. As a general bell mallet it will produce the big, brilliant sound needed for most orchestral bell parts.
