In addition to being Paige’s Music’s Low Brass Specialist, Sean Kissane is a freelance low brass performer and teacher in the central Indiana area and has 24 years of experience playing euphonium, tuba, and trombone. Sean holds a degree from the Butler University school of music where he studied under Melissa Williams, Dr. Robert Grechesky, and Col. Michael Colburn. Sean is currently first euphonium and section leader for both the Indianapolis Brass Choir and the Crossroads Brass Band, and he performs several times a year with his tuba/euphonium quartet, the Oompapas. Additionally, Sean regularly freelances around Indianapolis and its surrounding counties.
Sean specializes in teaching advanced high school euphonium, tuba, and trombone players and loves helping students prep for All-State, contest, or college auditions, as well as helping them expand their array of technical skills and improving their overall sound. Sean teaches out of his home in the Little Flower neighborhood of Indianapolis.
