Emily Prochaska is a performer, educator, and arts administrator in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she serves as the Education & Community Program Coordinator for the Butler University Community Arts School. She holds bachelors degrees in Music Performance and Arts Management from Miami University, and a Master of Music in Music Performance degree from the University of Georgia. Emily’s primary bassoon teachers include Christin Schillinger, Ryan Reynolds, Amy Pollard, and Rachael Young. Emily has performed with the Butler Philharmonic Orchestra, at the Interlochen Arts Academy, the Grand Ole Opry, and at the Vianden International Chamber Music Festival, among others. Her solo appearances include concerti performances at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, at Bowling Green State University, and at Miami University as the winner of respective competitons. Emily has over 10 years of experience as a bassoon teacher and educator, and her students frequently perform with district, state, and national honors ensembles.
