Hello!
I am a Indiana State University (ISU) graduate with a degree in music education. My primary instrument is saxophone and I have studied under the world renouned saxophone players, Dr. Paul Bro and Scotty Stepp. During my time at ISU I had the opportunity to be involved with many groups all my years through which included the ISU Wind Orchestra, ISU Symphony Orchestra, ISU Wind Symphony, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Ensemble, and The Marching Sycamores. I have had also a lot of solo experience playing two recitals my junior and senior year of college. I lastly was a Concerto/Aria Contest Winner in 2019.
When it comes to teaching I have had a lot of experience all throughout my four years of college. I have had the opportunity to work with many young saxophonists from 6th to 12th grade. In the summers I had off from college I worked with marching bands including the Southport Marching Cardinals (Indinapolis, IN) and New Palestine Marching Dragons (New Palestine, IN). I was in charge of the saxophone sections of these two groups teaching in sectionals and on the field. I also during this time have had one on one lessons with many different saxophone students.
