Private Teacher: Kathleen Moniaci

Kathleen Moniaci is a freelance bassoonist and teacher in the Indianapolis area. She has a Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan and a Master of Music from the University of Cincinnati, both in bassoon performance. Kathleen has over 10 years experience teaching all levels of bassoon, from beginner to advanced, students to adults! She focuses on the individuality of each student and strives to find lesson material that is fun and interesting to each student.

In addition to her skills as a bassoonist, Kathleen is a woodwind repair technician at Paige’s Music and apprentice at renowned Paul Nordby Bassoon Repair.

Kathleen has performed with the Lafayette Symphony, Indianapolis Wind Symphony, Danville Symphony, Projekt:Opera, Detroit Symphony Civic Orchestra, and currently plays in the woodwind quintet Impressaria Winds. She teaches bassoon at Marian University and private lessons in the greater Indianapolis area.
