Private Teacher: Kent Leslie

Kent Leslie is a freelance French hornist and horn teacher residing in Indianapolis. A charter member of the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, he is also principal hornist of the Anderson and Lafayette Symphonies, hornist with Keynote Brass, and performs often with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. He has been the hornist for the national touring orchestras of Burt Bacharach, Dionne Warwick, Andy Williams, and Pia Zadora. He was the soloist with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra in the world premiere of The Glass Bead Game -- a concerto written for him by James Beckel -- and his since recorded the concerto. Kent Leslie received his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from Ball State University.
