La Porte High School is looking for a rifle technician for our fall marching band season. Our
season includes a 1-2 week parade camp leading up to the 4th of July, a 2 week band camp
in late July/early August, and then a regular season schedule of Mondays 5:30-8:30,
Wednesdays 3-4:30 (music only), Thursdays 5:30-8:30, Friday home games, and Saturday
rehearsal/competitions (all times Central). LPHS competes in ISSMA Scholastic A class. This
position would NOT be expected or required to be at all rehearsals – rather, we are looking
for someone to come in intermittently to teach and clean rifle work (and potentially design,
depending on experience level). The position will be paid hourly through our booster
organization.
