Frankton-Lapel Community Marching Band is seeking an accomplished color guard instructor for the 2026-27 season.
Searching for accomplished guard instructor to oversee our winter (Festival) and summer guard programs. Winter program is autonomous and instructing duties, design, and writing are expected, but can be supplemented if needed. Potential of additional staff to assist, but mostly a solo endeavor. Group usually has between 15-20 members. Some have spun for 6 years while most are in their first or 2nd season. We want someone who will focus mainly establishing a firm foundation of basics and technique before moving to tricks and show work. Rehearsal schedule is flexible, but usually Tuesday and Thursday nights and Saturday afternoons.
We have exceptional students who need a steady and structured hand to bring excellence out of them.
Applicants should have multiple years of experience. Independent/WGI/DCI experience appreciated but not mandatory.
