North United Methodist Church of Indianapolis, IN seeks a creative, inclusive, and experienced Director of Music to oversee all choir and musical programs. Essential responsibilities of this three-quarter time position include choosing repertoire, conducting rehearsals, and nurturing the Cathedral Singers (50 mixed voice choir), Chancel Quartet (paid section leaders/soloists), and Voices in Accord (16 mixed voice auditioned ensemble) for Sunday worship and special concerts. Qualifications include excellent vocal and choral directing skills, and experience and expertise in a variety of sacred, classical, traditional and contemporary styles of music.
