Private Teacher: Greg Imboden

Greg Imboden holds a Master of Music in Woodwinds and a Bachelor of Music in Woodwinds from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. A graduate of Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, Greg taught at Butler University as an Adjunct Instructor for 31 years. Previously he was Adjunct Instructor of Woodwinds at The University of Indianapolis and a former member of the DePauw University Woodwind Quintet. Greg has been a soloist with the Butler University Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble and Wind Ensemble. He is currently the musical contractor and performer for the Indianapolis Broadway Series where he has been heard in the shows "A Chorus Line", "Legally Blonde", "Mary Poppoins", and "Wicked" playing a variety of woodwind instruments. Greg is the band leader of INDY EXPRESS BAND providing music for wedding receptions and corporate celebrations. He has toured with The Temptations, Burt Bacharach, Henry Mancini, John Davidson and Dionne Warwick to name a few. Since 1968, Greg has performed as an extra or substitue musician with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. He is a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Pi Kappa Lambda Honorary Music Society, Theta Chi Fraternity and The American Federations of Musicians.
